Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

WOW! I am seriously debating this question as there is 2 different answers.
I would LOVE for Vampire Academy to be made into a move. Just to have the story realized in almost real life would be visually amazing amazing!
As for the actor...I really have no idea! Someone with attitude and an ability to really pull off Rose's humor without being cheesy.
For the 2nd book I'd LOVE... to see on the big screen... well Guilty Pleasures!
as for the actor to play Anita Blake...Cote de Pablo, from NCIS.

Friday’s Review

Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1)
Author Richelle Mead
Published August 23rd 2011 by Razorbill
When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive - this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and every one's out for blood.
My Review
I am not sure I will be able to be objective...or coherent..why you ask! Oh, well, I secretly wish I could have Adrian Ivashkov's babies. Adrian is in this story. **sigh**

Quote: "He can still wink, I thought furiously. That annoying, stupid, condescending wink"
This work is written in Sydney Sage's point of view. It's very interesting to see this world from the Alchemist's prospective, after seeing everything from a dhampir's. This story is intriguing funny, heart felt with a little bit of a twist at the end for good measure.
Richelle made me feel like a giddy teenage girl at some points. The character growth in this one book is amazing. Richelle's humor shines in this spin off series and I am burning up with impatience waiting for the next installment.

Succubus On Top review

This Book would be considered ADULT reading:

I am a HUGE Vampire Academy fan, so I was looking for something else of Richelle Mead's to read. I stumbled on to Succubus On Top!
Well... I was not griped by this character and characters like in her other series. It is a good story and well written. I was just not lured in by it.
Georgina is supposed to be all about seduction, sucking life force (BTW, a little more than so and so's life force is being sucked! You know!) and culling souls for the levels of Hell. Well she is not so satisfied with her duties as a succubus. She is also dating a human, whom she can not be intimate with or you know, she will suck his life away! (HAHAHA, OK so only I thought that was funny.) This is really a story of a Bad girl going GOOD!
There are few spots where you really root for Georgina Kincaid, and you are moved by Georgina's situation. I am intrigued by her relationships with others. Georgina is able to be emotional available with some and others... well you will need to read the book.

Georgina Kincaid's job sucks. Literally.
SuccubusontopLove hurts, and no one knows it better than Georgina Kincaid. If she so much as kisses her new boyfriend, she’ll drain his life force. Georgina is a succubus—a demon who draws her power from other men’s pleasure. Admittedly, the shapeshifting and immortality perks are terrific, and yes, Georgina did choose to join the ranks of hell centuries ago. But it seems completely unfair that a she-demon whose purpose is seduction can’t get hot and heavy with the one mortal who knows and accepts her for who she is.
It’s not just her personal life that’s in chaos. Doug, Georgina’s co-worker at a local bookstore, has been exhibiting bizarre behavior, and Georgina suspects that something far more demonic than double e-
spressos is at work. She could use help finding out, but Bastien, an irresistibly charming incubus and her best immortal friend, is preoccupied in the suburbs with corrupting an ultra-conservative talk radio star—and giving Georgina some highly distracting come-hither vibes. Georgina is going to have to work solo on this one—and fast because soon, Doug’s life won’t be the only one on the line…

Laurell K. Hamilton, I don't know her but I love her!

When first seeing the Anita Blake series I didn't want to read it! I was resistant and actually read 2 other series's before it.
My reaction to finally purchasing Guilty Pleasures was "I guess I'll read it." I know now how F-ing ridiculous I was being!
Oh lets see It me about 2 days to read the first book. Yes, I FUCKING loved Anita Blake and Jean Claude's regard for each other! I Fucking loved the way Anita meets Richard. So I ran out and bought The Laughing Corpse... and so my love for The Vampire Executioner and her universe began. I am waiting for the next book release, with bated breath like a junky waiting for her next fix. I will have to re-read this series soon very soon!

When I ran out of Anita books to read I was craving, itching, and scratching for more Laurell K. Hamilton! I turned to the Merry Gentry Series. This is not a vampire series... I know! I suddenly found myself experimenting with faeries.
I did not start this series with the first book A Kiss of Shadows. I stared with A Caress of Twilight, yet this did not matter. I found that I wanted to go back so I could read from the beginning. Yes, I was shocked by this! It wasn't just a want, this going back to the beginning,it was a need. A need to find out how it started.
It is wonderful that Laurell doesn't give so much of her previous books away in the current book. I feel some authors miss the point when giving to much away. The Reader now misses the experience of being submerged in, and becoming part of the story.

Laurell's writing is fun, funny, funky, and sometimes sexually out there! But DAMN it makes for great reading!

Wow Readers Delite Richelle Mead

I was completely unaware of how many of us avid readers are out there! I have always had a voracious appetite for reading... yet in the last year I have read some whole and complete series... that I would happily re -read.
I am currently reading Bloodlines
by Richelle Mead. She is also the author of Vampire Academy, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE,
and the Gorgina Kincaid Series, I've only read one so far and was good. Richelle also has another series out called Dark Swan
Looks good!
I may like Richelle more for the fact we are both redheaded, scorpios, and we both love coffee! Or maybe it's just the book thing... you choose!

If you have any suggestions for a series, or an author please let me know!

Feature & Follow

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

There is a couple of series that I love to read and read and read! But well, Twilight is of course my Number 1 re-read! The feeling of being part of that story, completely submerged, is just wonderful! They become your family and when I was finished with the series the only way to bring them back was to read it again! Sounds way more Emo than it really is...LOL!
